Last week, Alex was finishing up in the bathroom when he said "My foot is buzzing!" I wasn't sure what he meant, but Grandma knew right away: His foot had fallen asleep. Overheard tonight: I'm building a house for an archmage! There are at least three more that I couldn't record at the time.

Me: We need to whip this kitchen into shape! Alex: We could make it a rectangle!

Bat in the camper Alex's conversation with kitty. He was on the deck, very engaged in conversation with Beeb, and picked up a leaf or something and was playing with it. He threw it about the time Beeb couldn't stand it anymore, and when she went down the stairs she must have come very close to where the leaf fell. "You almost got it, kitty!"
